ABOUT

THE CONCENTRIC EXPERIENCE

We are a team of technology consultants and integrators helping progressive government leaders implement a roadmap to efficiency.

We’ve made it simpler to operate with greater intelligence, thanks to our unique team of experts within systems integration, water/ wastewater and IT. We ask questions that demand answers. And through an ongoing conversation with forward-thinking clients, we continually discover further opportunities for efficiency. This kind of partnership turns a normally complex situation into a process of discovery and solutions.

THE ROADMAP TO GREATER OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE
Operating a government is a big task with many moving parts. This is why our team absorbs the heavy-lifting and mental power required to wrestle a tangled governmental system down to one of greater operational intelligence, automation, and efficiency.

THE EASE OF SYSTEMS INTEGRATION
The loose ends of your system are identified by our technology and integration experts, discovering how each might integrate into the next. This holistic approach also considers how your people are attached to technology, transforming human operations and increasing quality of life.

THE SIMPLICITY OF SINGLE CONTROL INTERFACE
Your team will enjoy seeing into your system through a single window that provides greater comprehension and operational control.

THE CONVENIENCE OF COMPLIANCE REPORTING
Optimizing data storage systems allow your logs and records to be conveniently retrieved to quickly produce regulatory compliance reports.

ORIGIN STORY

In 1999, while working at Baxter & Woodman, Inc. Consulting Engineers, Chris Sosnowski struck up a conversation with Dick Klein, the head of Baxter & Woodman’s Electrical Department.

We started discussing a better way to provide systems integration for B&W clients. Back then, system integration wasn’t all that advanced, and clients were eager for better solutions. Dick believed we could overhaul our approach to systems integration into a valuable tool to help clients manage their facilities better and save them time and money!  With this goal in mind, a subsidiary of Baxter & Woodman, Inc. called B&W Control Systems Integration, LLC, was formed.

At that point, we had no business plan (not even on the back of a napkin). We just knew that if we put our minds to it, we could improve systems integration by leaps and bounds.  And so it began!  Dick hired his son, Mike, to help out and we started using our knowledge of municipal facilities and IT to develop advanced integration solutions.

In 2001, Dick passed away unexpectedly, and we were left without a mentor or direction.  But, we continued doing what we knew how to do and do well – help communities with SCADA and automation. In 2008, recognizing our clients often struggled with everyday information technology needs, we added information technology consulting to our list of services.

Over the years, the company has grown, and continues to grow into more than Dick, Mike, or I ever imagined.

In 2017, we took time to reflect and look forward.  We thought long and hard about who we are and what we stand for. To this day, the center of our universe is still about helping communities and utilities be smart about the way they handle their precious resources. So we decided it was time for a new company name and fresh logo to better reflect our company vision and commitment: Concentric Integration.
